Zee Bangla was launched on September 15, 1999 as Alpha Bangla, the first Bangla satellite channel. Since beginning, this channel aimed to uphold Bengals culture to the world. Daily soaps such as Rashi, Keya Patar Nouko, Saat Pake Badha, Khela, Khona, Agnipariksha and Subarnalata have reflected Bengali ethos in a never-before manner.
